Sangwo sighed as she put her daggers back into their holders and summoned her black raptor again. When the pet appeared she pulled out some meat from her bag and threw it in front of him and climbed onto his back as he ate.

“Come on, Sorna. You could’ve easily outrun that backstabbing scorpion. There was no need to abandon me,” she said, although she knew that he wouldn’t listen to her. That’s just how he was. She pat the dinosaur’s neck before grabbing his reins and spurring him on toward Archosaur. It wasn’t long before Sorna had passed through the south gate where she stopped him. The assassin climbed off her pet’s back and dismissed him.

“She said the east gate,” she murmured to herself before starting to make her way through the crowded streets of the capital. The Tideborn never enjoyed coming to the city; she didn’t mind crowds, but the capital had so many people constantly in it, she thought that time itself slowed down sometimes when she was there.

And the noise. With so many people talking, trading, buying, selling, it was almost hard to believe that people didn’t get their conversation confused with one of the ten others happening a few feet away. She always felt a great sense of relief when she left and didn’t hear the constant drone of voices.

Finally making it into the east district she made a dash to the gate since it seemed to be less crowded today. She slowed down as she approached the exit, her blue eyes scanning the area. Sure enough, she spotted who she was looking for.

Bright pink hair, fair Earthguard skin, and a giant Seeker’s sword strapped to her back, Sangwo’s friend Ceres was leaning against the wall inside the gate. The Seeker spotted the purple haired Tideborn and waved.

“Took you long enough,” Ceres said with a smile once her friend was in front of her. “You should have just used Sorna to plow through the streets.”

“You know I hate when people do that,” Sangwo replied.

“Yeah, yeah. Come on, I got a quest to kill forty senile weezeblooms and I don’t want it to take all day,” Ceres said while summoning her centipede flyer and taking off to the north.

“Hey, wait up!” Sangwo called out. She pulled out her wings and flew off after her friend, grabbing the Seeker’s arm. “We should teleport to Etherblade first otherwise it’ll take us hours just to get there. From Etherblade it’s only a half hour flying. Come on now.”

Sangwo and Ceres flew over the walls of Archosaur to the nearest teleporter.

“Both of us would like to go to Etherblade, please,” Sangwo told the woman as the two friends pulled out enough gold to pay the teleportation fee. The teleporter took the money, bid them a good day, and sent them off.

“Welcome to Etherblade,” the Etherblade teleporter said only a few moments later. The girls smiled at her before taking off to the northwest.

“With the two of us, it shouldn’t take very long to get rid of forty,” Sangwo said as they crossed over the river into the area they needed to be. “Land on top of that windmill and I’ll use my bloodpaint.”

So in attempts to get my writing groove back, I wrote a little drabble about my Pokemon OCs, oops. I...

So in attempts to get my writing groove back, I wrote a little drabble about my Pokemon OCs, oops. I made all sorts of plans for this story and then never wrote it, lmfao. I always get so excited about writing a new fic/story that I literally do tons and tons of planning and then when it comes to actually writing it I do like a chapter and then abandon it indefinitely. My Pokemon one I literally wrote two sentences of it about three years ago. orz So this may be a little sloppy because I guess it’s just some more planning and stuff or something. But hey! At least it’s not ef - a fairy tale of the two stuff, haha.

“It’s been almost four years…”

“Huh?” Michiko’s gaze snapped up from her cup of milk tea to her older brother. He was looking out the window of the little café in Jubilife City and watching the different people go by. He then shook his head slightly and turned back to his sister, taking a sip of his coffee.

“Nothing, just thinking about how you’ve come so far since I first sent you Eevee and Charmander for your tenth birthday,” he replied.

And he was right.

In just four years she was able to challenge the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn leagues. Her starting Pokemon Eevee and Charmander had both become Vaporeon and Charizard respectfully. She even had a travelling companion, Yusuke, from Johto who had his own goals of becoming a great coordinator. And soon it would be time for her to continue travelling with Yusuke in the Sinnoh region. She could have never imagined that she would go all the way to the Sinnoh region from Pallet Town.

“So have you, older brother,” she responded before grabbing a scone and taking a bite of it. “You’re even going to the Unova region soon to study the Pokemon there!”

At just nineteen years old, Toki had come a long way since the day he began his own journey at ten. He had only been a trainer for a little over two years before returning to their father’s home in Pacifidlog Town. A few months before his fourteenth birthday he set out into the world again, this time as a Pokemon researcher with the goal of learning more about Pokemon in order to help trainers and owners take care of their own Pokemon better. After two years of travelling, Professor Rowan of the Sinnoh region took Toki on as an assistant. Under Professor Rowan, Toki was able to travel throughout different regions, and publish his first book at eighteen. But now it was time for Toki to take another trip.

Professor Juniper of the Unova region had requested that Toki come and assist with her own research. He had agreed, although he would be going there for two years without being able to come home due to it being so far away from the other regions. He was excited about this opportunity, of course, but the idea of not being able to easily return to his father or mother’s house made him a bit uneasy.

“Hm…” Toki replied before taking another sip of coffee. “I just wish it wasn’t so far away from here.”

Michiko looked down at her cup again. “I’m sure it’ll be fine.” She then looked up at her brother and playfully bumped his leg with her foot to get him to look at her. “You can always call mom and dad, and Yusuke and I can call when we’re at a Pokemon Center!”

Toki smiled before reaching over and grabbing the rest of the scone Michiko was eating and popped it in his mouth before she could protest. He then set their payment on the table and got up, putting a hand on her head.

“You’re right. Now come on, Yusuke should be arriving soon. You don’t want to keep your friend waiting. He has a contest to compete in in a few hours after all.”

“Right!” Michiko finished up her milk tea and followed her brother out into the streets of Jubilife.

Decided to write something now since I’m gonna try writing regularly again since I need to...

Decided to write something now since I’m gonna try writing regularly again since I need to start being active with RPing again. Another little ef - a fairy tale of the two. thing again. This time about Chihiro’s accident.

Chihiro opened the door to her house and took her shoes off before continuing on to her and Kei’s room with the bag from the store. She hoped that Hiro hadn’t waited too long. She had so many ideas to discuss with Hiro for their story today. They hadn’t worked on it in a while, so the ideas were just waiting to be spilled from her mind; to see what they would look like when he drew them.

But…where was he? Hiro had said he would wait right here while Chihiro would go to buy some snacks for their story making, but the room was empty.

She moved over to the table, setting the bag down and picking up the sheet of paper that was sitting on the table.

Chihiro: Hiro-nii-san and I went to the beach today! We’ll be back later. -Kei

Chihiro let the note slip from her fingers and onto the ground. Hiro had promised her that they were going to work on their story today.

And he broke his promise.

He went to the beach with Kei instead.

She quickly shook her head, shaking the thoughts from her mind. No, she wouldn’t cry and get upset over this. She knew that her older sister had been a little jealous lately over the fact that Hiro was spending more time with Chihiro. So today they could all hang out together at the beach. And then another time she could continue making the manga with Hiro.

She went over to her desk and grabbed her bag, putting a few things she would need in it before going to change into her swimsuit.

As soon as she had a sundress over it, she picked up her bag and put it over her shoulder, leaving her room and the house. After she made sure everything was locked she took off toward the beach. If she ran she could be there in ten minutes.

————————————————-

As she rounded the corner of the road, she could see Hiro and Kei on the beach. The two were in the middle of building a sand castle. Chihiro couldn’t help the smile that came onto her face. She loved building sand castles when she went to the beach with Kei. She started to slow down to a jog and she saw Kei look up. Chihiro smiled wider, closing her eyes and waving at her sister.

When she opened her eyes though, everything seemed to slow down. Kei was looking in her direction, but seemed to be looking at sometime behind the younger twin. And then Kei’s eyes widened. Chihiro wanted to turn but everything was going so slowly. But it didn’t matter because a horrible, loud sound filled her ears. She could tell the noise was tires squealing but it was so loud. She just wanted to cover her ears.

And then there was pain.

So much pain.

And then everything started to fade.

More pain.

Darkness.

————————————————-

Chihiro slowly opened her eyes. Something didn’t feel right. Didn’t look right. She was in a hospital room, her parents sitting at the bedside, but that wasn’t it. It was almost like she was seeing half of what she normally saw. She moved her left hand up to her face and went to touch her left eye. Some sort of cloth was in the way. Her parents said something but she couldn’t make it out because she was overtaken by a wave of panic.

It was an eyepatch.

Her eye was gone.

She couldn’t help the scream that escaped her lips.

————————————————-

Chihiro sat in the hospital bed, staring down at her hands. It had been an hour since she had woken up and she had finally calmed down long enough to listen to her parents and the doctor.

They told her about the accident; how the driver wasn’t paying attention when they were rounding the corner. How they had panicked and lost control of the car, hitting Chihiro.

They told her about her injuries. How it was a miracle for her to be alive. How she had lost her left eye, but it was better than losing her life.

Then they told her about the brain damage.

How her brain no longer had the ability to make new memories. Since she had just woken up, they didn’t know how bad it was yet. She might be able to remember things for a few days, or maybe even just a few hours.

Once they had left her alone so she could get some rest, she cried. What was she supposed to think?

Lucky to be alive? She remembered everything up to right before the accident, but now she would only be able to live her life in increments. A couple of days? A couple of hours? The increments were so small and she was only twelve. There was still so much of her life ahead of her. And she wouldn’t be able to remember any of it?

Was she even really alive then?

Just a little AU ef - a fairy tale of the two drabble thing. It’s not very complete/might be a little jumpy at parts and such since I was just trying to get my writing groove back. I might write more sometime, flesh it out, idk. Chihiro/Renji

September 13, 20XX

Today I got a chocolate éclair from Otowa Bakery. It was very good. I’m sure you’ll enjoy whatever you pick tomorrow.

Nothing else really happened today. Himura-san went to visit his friend, Kuze-san today. He didn’t return until late. Kei-onee-chan didn’t text me today. She must still be busy with her school work.

———————————————

“Um, could I please get a slice of chocolate cake?” Chihiro asked the lady behind the counter.

“Of course!” the woman replied. “Here you are.”

“Thank you.”

Chihiro took her chocolate cake and sat at an empty table, ready to enjoy her new treat.

——————————————-

September 14, 20XX

Today was a slice of chocolate cake. I was interested in trying it because it seems I really enjoyed it almost a month ago. I have to say it didn’t disappoint.

Today Himura-san said that he was concerned about me going to the bakery everyday. He has said this before, but since I only remember because it’s written down here, I guess he felt the need to talk to me about it again.

I understand that meeting someone would be troublesome for that person, but since I haven’t talked to anyone there besides the lady that runs the bakery, I don’t see anything wrong with going.

——————————————

“One chocolate cream puff, please,” Chihiro said, ordering something that she had never gotten before.

She took her new treat before turning to look for an empty table. She was sure that this was the same time she came everyday, and yet today the bakery was unbelievably crowded. It seemed she would have to ask for a bag and return to the church.

“Excuse me, do you need a place to sit?”

She looked in the direction of the voice to see a boy. He was wearing a high school uniform.

“Um…Well, I thought I would go home. I-it’s unusually busy.”

“You can have a seat here, I don’t mind,” the boy replied.

She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do since her interaction with other people only extended to Himura-san and the bakery shop owner.

She sat down across from him.

“T-thank you,” she said looking over at him. He smiled.

“It’s no problem,” he responded. “I come here every once in a while after school and I noticed that you stop by here everyday.” He then put up his hands and laughed nervously. “Not like I was purposely looking for you! I just happened to notice you after a while.”

Chihiro smiled and gave a little laugh.

“No, I understand. It was kind of you to offer me a seat then so I wouldn’t have to change my daily routine.”

“Of course. Oh, I’m sorry. My name’s Renji Asou,” the boy said, smiling back.

“Chihiro,” she responded. “My name’s Chihiro Shindou.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Chihiro.”

——————————————————-

September 20, 20XX

Today I picked up a chocolate cream puff.

Although it was very crowded in the bakery today. I was going to return home since there were no seats, but a boy offered for me to sit at his table. He said he had noticed that I go to the bakery everyday.

His name is Renji Asou and he was wearing an OtowaHigh School uniform. He has brown hair and gray eyes. From what he said, he goes to the bakery after school sometimes before heading home.

——————————————————-

“A lemon torte, today?”

“What?” Chihiro turned towards the voice.

“I know it’s not as busy as yesterday, but you’re welcome to join me again.”

“…Renji Asou-san?”

“Ah, yes. Sorry if I startled you. We did only meet just yesterday.”

Chihiro sat down.

“No, it’s fine. You got a croissant?”

“Oh, yeah. I always get one when I come here. They’re very good. Have you had one?”

Chihiro shook her head.

“Not yet. Maybe I’ll try one tomorrow.”

—————————————————————-

September 21, 20XX

I got a lemon torte today. It was delicious.

I sat with the boy Renji Asou again today. He gets a croissant whenever he goes to the bakery. I told him I might try one tomorrow. You don’t have to, just a suggestion.

—————————————————————-

“It’s been a few days, Chihiro.”

“Are you…Asou-san?”

“Yes. How have you been?”

“I’ve been well. I tried a croissant the other day.”

“Oh, did you?” Renji gave a smile. “What did you think?”

“It was good like you said.”

“Maybe you should give me a suggestion on what to get tomorrow?”

“Ah…y-yes!”

—————————————————

September 25, 20XX

Renji Asou was at the bakery again today. I told him that the croissant he had suggested was good. I wish I could actually remember the taste of it myself.

He asked if I could pick out something for him to get at the bakery tomorrow.

—————————————————-

“I should get the strawberry shortcake?” Renji asked, looking over at Chihiro.

“Yes, since you suggested your favorite to me, I decided I should suggest my favorite to you in return,” she replied.

While she wasn’t sure if the strawberry shortcake was in fact her overall favorite from the bakery, it seemed that she got it the most. According to all of her past selves, it was very good and never disappointed. So that was probably the closest she would ever get to a favorite from the bakery.

They sat at a table after getting their slices of shortcake.

“You’re right. This is good, I can see why it would be your favorite.”

Chihiro smiled before taking a bite of her own piece. Yes, she could safely say that it definitely was her favorite after tasting it.

“So, Chihiro. Do you go to school? I’m sorry! I mean, it’s just you’re never in a uniform and I’ve never seen you at school either, so…”

“…No, I don’t go to school. It would be very difficult for me.”

“Oh, I see. I’m sorry.”

“N-no! It’s okay…” She looked down at her half eaten cake. “Do you like school, Asou-san?”

“Eh? Hmm…it’s alright. I don’t hate it though,” he replied.

She smiled as she got up.

“Good-bye.”

“I’ll see you tomorrow?” Renji asked.

Her eye widened at the question with the underlying promise. She then smiled back.

“…See you tomorrow.”

———————————————————-

test

The girl is only one in the world.
